What Should be Bought by Moms in The Grocery Store : First Week of Ramadhan

 Ramadhan is one of month that already by all muslim in the world. In this month they do fasting start in the morning until evening.

In the first week they are so interesting to pray to get reward from God. All people go to mosque together for pray and tarawih.

As a moms that always care about family nutrition, she has responsible to full fill the family nutrition in the fasting.

In this case is different with daily nutrition because in the fasting people less eat than before. So, how about moms shopping list in the grocery store?

Muslim needs more protein in the Ramadan fasting. It makes body more powerful, create good mood and give nutrition more.

Beside that, people is always hunt the sweet food to break fasting. Do you know, sweet food is unhealthy for our body?

So, be careful. Sweet food is okay to eat after break fasting but pay attention at the other kind of nutrition like carbo and protein.

This is the role of moms to decide what should buy in the grocery store for Ramadan fasting needs. Wrong ingredient will disturb Ramadan fasting.

There are some healthy problem like stomach ache. This problem is often happen in the fasting. So, be careful to eat in the break fasting and sahur.

Moms List To Buy in The Grocery Store

There are some list to buy for food preparation in the grocery store. This list have purpose to minimize the healthy problem in the Ramadan fasting.

1. Protein

As mentioned before that protein has important role. Moms can buy some kind of protein like chicken, egg, meat and fish.

All of them is good protein for body. Remember that minimize the use of oil. Cooking like baked and boiled is better than fry.

2. Fruit

Fruit has natural sugar to bring back energy after fasting. Good fruit like papaya, melon, orange, mango, apple, banana is good for Ramadan fasting.

All of fruit above has contain sugar but not too much for body. It's better to eat that kind of fruit than eat sweet dessert like cake.

3. Carbohydrate

Do not forget to buy kind of carbohydrate like rice. Another carbohydrate is ready in the grocery store like potato, cassava, corn, etc.

Baked potato and cassava is good for Ramadan fasting. When eat rice, just take as enough as can. Do not add too much rice.

4. Kurma

Kurma is one of good dessert for fasting. Moms can stock it for family. Eating three pcs of kurma will makes people stomach full little bit longer.

That so amazing. It can consume in the break fasting and sahur. There are so many brand of kurma, every brand has different price.


Just four of them as list to shopping in the grocery store for first week of Ramadan fasting. Moms can buy it weekly or just for two until three day.

All of them is good to full fill the family nutrition during fasting. However do not eat too much in the break fasting and sahur. Just eat enough as we needs. Marhaban Ya Ramadan!
